Youth Programming Volunteer

Join us as a youth programming volunteer to inspire and empower youth! Explore, learn, and contribute to youth health education in a meaningful and effective way.

  • Lead small groups of youth ages 9-14

  • Gain hands-on experience in gardening and cooking with youth

  • Teach and guide youth through student-centered experiential learning

  • Support programs by helping with food prep and doing dishes

  • Focus on inclusiveness, sustainability, and stewardship

Days / Times / Requirements:

  • Weekdays – mornings/ afternoons

  • One-time sessions, weekly sessions for a semester, week-long camps with half day shifts

  • Open to volunteers (age 18 and up) – with Green Plate Special volunteer training for youth programming and a Washington State Patrol background check

  • Atlantic Street Center After-School
  • Atlantic Street Center Teens-As-Parents
  • Madrona Elementary School In-School
  • Washington Middle School After-School
